LSES allocated a budget of $10,000 to fund 10 (or more) Final year projects FYP, or relevant master topics in the renewable energy among different universities in Lebanon. The initiative also includes financial prizes for the best 3 projects funded through this initiative.
Budget for each project should fall within up to $750 range. This amount should be explicitly dedicated to buying equipment that would be specifically needed for the project in question, and that should be physically available during the project implementation time.
Three prizes of $1000, $750 and $500 have been awarded in cash for the best three projects respectively. A Jury from renewable field specialists, University professors, OEA, IRI and private industries decided on winning participants.
